There really has been a massive dropping in pricing for computer hard drives. I remember back in 2014 I bought a first of it’s kind, top of the line 1 TB Saumsung 850 Pro SSD for around $600. A ridiculous price, but i’m actually still using that drive as my daily driver in my desktop.
Just a few weeks ago I was doing an upgrade on a Dell laptop and I purchased a 1 TB Crucial m.2 NVME SSD for $140. NVME SSD’s are like 4-5 times faster than regular SSD’s. But in all honesty, once you go SSD, you can never really go back.

The Netflix Miniseries Maniac is like if Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind was turned into series on par with Game of Thrones. Really fantastic.
